JAMES ALLEN PAULEY-BARKER MESSAGE
Communities Create Change!
Hello everyone, my name is James Allen Pauley-Barker and I'm ready to take action, work hard, serve and unite our community.
Louisa needs someone like me who will come into work on the first day ready to roll up his sleeves and go to work.
To do this, I aim to work with Lawrence County children of all ages, including FFA, Carpentry, and Art students, to design and develop and build a comprehensive community. This promotes our children's future development and teaches them civic responsibility, all the while bringing our citizens together. I know you recognize, as I do, that these children are Louisa's future, and they will need strong leadership to lead them in the proper direction. We can make their future one to remember if we work together.
Louisa requires someone like me to develop a strategy to repair and upgrade our roads, infrastructure, new sewage plant, and any other improvements deemed practical on a reasonable timetable. I wish to clean up Louisa and do away with all of the city's dilapidated houses and/or structures. These kinds of facilities not only draw attention to our city, but they also foster drug usage and criminal activities. We must clean up our city in order to attract tourists.
We also need someone who is willing to work with the people you have elected to other local public positions. We must first fight for larger companies to come to this region so that they can provide decent-paying jobs; these kinds of companies provide youth-oriented jobs, which benefit our community in a variety of ways. Furthermore, we must guarantee that our local businesses receive appropriate financial assistance to prosper as small businesses. We require someone who will treat everyone in our community fairly, including city personnel.
If you were voted to a public office by your community, it is your job to bring about positive change. That being said, if I were Mayor in my community, I would do everything I could to serve our fellow citizens, and eagerly accommodate our problems through smart planning, collaboration, and relationship building. To end, I would work hard to make all of these things become meaningful and help stimulate the formation of a proud community. Allow me to be this person, to lead our city along a new path that will benefit everyone.
BTW, only search for those that genuinely want to serve others; they are the ones you'll never forget!
Thank you, and please vote for James Allen Pauley-Barker, Mayor of Louisa!
